This sounds like a really incredible program and I’m so thankful you were able to participate. I really enjoyed hearing about it here and I’m tucking this into the back of my mind for future reference, too.
Thanks, as always, for sharing yourself. This story really touched me. I had a wonderful experience with a counselor who did what you did and I treasure that poem to this day. I shared about my saying "Yes" to God in my sharing and the poem he wrote brought it all together. Those that trust you to share will forever, I know, be changed by the poem you create. Congratulations!! Much deserved!!!
What a wonderful program--and thank you for this post that shared not only the program but some powerful listening stories of your own. (And I relate to the backstairs thing--my aunt and uncle had a house with a back stairway that as a young child I was sure was a secret, magical place.)
I’m grateful that I have had so many in my life that have listened to me. When I take time to listen to others’ stories I am enriched. I commit to being a better listener and making space for the stories of back staircases. I am thankful to listen to your words today. ❤️
Very insightful. It is amazing how much we can learn by listening. We are more similar than not. We each have travels to do. Many times we walk side by side and other time a solitary path. Some times our bundle is light and other times heavier. Loving compassion helps us on our path. Many blessings. Much love Cheryl W

It was absolutely incredible and if you ever want to hear more about, I'd be happy to share:)
This is so powerful. We underestimate the need to listen and be listened to. Beautifully expressed. Thank you.
