Friday Field Trips: Puddles & Waterfalls
a poem inspired by touching water
Friday Field Trips are an extra serving of words and water for paid subscribers to Wednesdays at the Well. Your support empowers the continued thirst-quenching work of 10CAMELS. My gratitude for you is real and deep.
As I wrote about on Wednesday, in Look and Please Do Touch the Water, I celebrated my birthday with a trip to the Upper Peninsula. Spending a day at Tahquamenon Falls and then visiting Ocqueoc Falls on the drive home. There were also stops to put my feet in several shores of Lake Huron and Lake Superior. All the water has inspired several new poems. And I share one of them here with you.
Read and listen to me read the poem below.
