This June I’ve been intentionally attentive to joy, specifically to queer joy. This means that Pride month has been different than in years past. Quieter. Simpler. Less busy. More private. More fun. More contemplative.
Celebrating Pride, I hear the call to work for a world where all people, especially queer and trans people are not only celebrated, but also safe and free. There is so much work to do.
I’m grateful for each of you who has followed along with my weekly reflections on joy and liberation at Wednesdays at the Well. It has been healing to write and share, and also to receive your notes, comments, and messages.
Today’s Friday Field Trip is a journey with JOY.
